CONGRATULATIONS!

The Bach Choir has now announced its two winners for the 2023 Sir David Willcocks Carol Competition. 17-year-old Estella MacLaren from Wimbledon wins the 17-and-under category with her carol Spellbound, a setting of a poem by Charlotte Brontë. In the 18-and-over category, composer Nicholas Ansdell-Evans wins with his carol And I, Joseph, a setting of the Protogospel of James which tells the story of Joseph going out to find a midwife for Mary.
