The Mayor’s annual event has become one of the highlights of London’s cultural calendar. Locals and tourists alike will join in the celebrating the great contributions that Irish culture and people have had on the capital. This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the ongoing and enduring friendship between Ireland and London.

Irish national treasure Panti Bliss will be the Grand Marshall for this year’s parade as over 50,000 are expected to join in the festivities. Irish marching bands, dance troupes and pageantry will be among the attractions.

The St Patrick’s Day parade begins at Hyde Park Corner before travelling through Piccadilly, St James’s Street, Pall Mall, Cockspur Street, and Whitehall, before heading over to Trafalgar Square for a world-class line-up. Look out for family concerts, children’s films, and youth performance, along with community choirs, schools, and dancing. International Chef of the Year 2019, Anna Haugh will be running food demos alongside the main stage and there will also be children’s workshops so come along and join in the fun.
